In addition to the global legal function, Michelle oversaw Gap Inc.’s global legal function in addition to global equity, integrity and privacy functions. She also led the foundation, franchise services, government affairs & public policy and sustainability functions during her tenure at Gap Inc.
Before joining Gap Inc. in 1999, Michelle was in-house legal counsel for the NBA’s Golden State Warriors, and prior to that, worked in Japan as American counsel for ITOCHU Corporation. She was also associated with several law firms, including Morrison & Foerster in California and New York, focusing on corporate finance and international commercial transactions.
Michelle graduated from UCLA with degrees in Law and Economics, and was admitted to the California bar in 1988. She serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of Minority Corporate Counsel Association and on the American Bar Association’s Commission on Women in the Profession.

Kathy Shaloo Berg is Partner at ZGF Architects LLP in Portland, Oregon. In her 20-year career at ZGF, Kathy has led teams from programming through construction for a broad range of buildings, including mixed-use district developments, corporate offices, research buildings, and branding projects. Kathy’s work with leading clients in the fields of technology, workplace, higher education, and research has enabled her to facilitate delivery of high-performance design.

Robert Dzielak has served as Expedia’s Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary since April 2012. Dzielak previously served as Expedia’s Senior Vice President and acting General Counsel since October 2011.
Since joining Expedia as Assistant General Counsel in April 2006 and through his service as Vice President and Associate General Counsel between February 2007 and October 2011, Dzielak held primary responsibility for the worldwide litigation portfolio of Expedia and its brands.
Prior to joining Expedia, Dzielak was a partner at the law firm of Preston, Gates and Ellis, LLP (now K&L Gates LLP), where his practice focused on commercial and intellectual property litigation.
Dzielak received his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School.

Brad Lewis is a Managing Director and the General Counsel of BlackRock Institutional Trust Company, a national bank subsidiary of BlackRock which manages over $1 trillion in assets for institutional clients. BlackRock is a global leader in investment management, risk management and advisory services, with over $4.8 trillion in assets under management.
In addition to his duties as General Counsel of BTC, he leads the global legal teams supporting BlackRock’s Institutional Client Business and BlackRock Solutions®. BlackRock Solutions provides the Aladdin® investment management platform to a diverse range of external clients including asset managers, insurers, banks, governments and official institutions, as well as FutureAdvisor®, BlackRock’s robo-adviser platform. Lewis also coordinates BlackRock’s intellectual property protection globally, including trademarks, patents and IP enforcement.
Prior to joining BlackRock, Lewis was a litigation partner and practice head at Fenwick & West, where he represented clients in a variety of matters, including government investigations by the SEC and the U.S. Department of Justice, securities litigation and intellectual property disputes. From 1990 through 1997, Lewis served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Eastern District of California, where he prosecuted political corruption, fraud and other white collar crimes.
Lewis has been an instructor at the Stanford Director’s College on internal investigations and corporate governance, and an instructor in trial advocacy at the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. He received awards as a federal prosecutor from the FBI, Department of the Treasury and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Lewis received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University, and his law degree from the University of California Berkeley, where he was an Executive Editor of the California Law Review.

Bruce Lymburn is the General Counsel and Secretary of Clif Bar & Company, the well-known maker of great-tasting and nutritious energy bars and other foods. He has been Clif Bar’s lawyer since 1996 and General Counsel since 2004. A pilot for over 32 years, Bruce also leads Clif Bar’s aviation department. Bruce received his undergraduate degree in earth sciences in 1979 from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and his law degree in 1982 from Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley.

Sarah Schaaf is the founder and CEO of Headnote, a technology company that is mapping the legal industry as a transaction network of attorneys, clients and vendors. Sarah is also an attorney that worked most recently in Google’s Discovery Department. Prior to Google, Sarah worked as outside counsel at medium and large firms in San Francisco defending corporate clients in complex litigation matters. Her knowledge about the intricacies of the legal industry are not only based on her work as an attorney, she also grew up in a family of lawyers and has spent the majority of her life working in and around law firms.
Sarah attended Loyola University Chicago School of Law where she served as President of the Student Bar Association. She was also an editor and author for Loyola University Chicago’s International Law Review and was published for her article, “What’s A Survivor To Do? An Inquiry Into Various Options and Outcomes For Individuals Seeking Recovery of Nazi-Looted Art.”

Executive Vice President, Government Affairs, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary Tony West is Executive Vice President of Government Affairs, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of PepsiCo, a global food and beverage leader with net revenues of more than $66 billion and a product portfolio that includes 22 brands that generate more than $1 billion each in annual retail sales. PepsiCo’s main businesses – Quaker, Tropicana, Gatorade, Frito-Lay and Pepsi-Cola – make hundreds of enjoyable foods and beverages that are respected household names throughout the world.
West assumed this role in November 2014 and is responsible for the company’s worldwide legal, government affairs and public policy organizations. He also oversees the company’s global compliance function and serves as President of the PepsiCo Foundation.
Prior to joining PepsiCo, West served as the Associate Attorney General of the United States, the U.S. Department of Justice’s third-ranking official.
West has more than 20 years of experience in the public and private sectors. As Associate Attorney General, he led the Justice Department’s efforts to protect Americans’ civil rights; assist homeowners who suffered losses during the 2008 financial crisis; strengthen the federal relationship with sovereign Native American nations; establish strong partnerships between the nation’s state attorneys general and the federal government; and secure access to criminal and civil legal aid regardless of income.
Prior to his appointment as Associate Attorney General, West served as the Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Division, the Justice Department’s largest litigating component, where he supervised the work of approximately 1,000 lawyers. In this role, West bolstered the division’s enforcement efforts to recover taxpayer money lost to fraud and abuse. He also emphasized the division’s responsibility to bring civil and criminal actions to enforce the nation’s consumer protection laws.
Earlier in his career, West was an Assistant United States Attorney in the Northern District of California, where he prosecuted a variety of federal crimes. He also served as Special Assistant Attorney General at the California Department of Justice and was a litigation partner at Morrison & Foerster LLP in San Francisco.
West graduated with honors from Harvard College, where he served as publisher of the Harvard Political Review, and received his law degree from Stanford Law School, where he was President of the Stanford Law Review.
West is based in Purchase, N.Y.
As Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Secretary, and Chief Privacy Officer of TiVo Inc., a NASDAQ-traded software, media, and data analytics company, I oversee worldwide legal affairs and government relations, including securities law, communications, antitrust, and other regulatory matters, litigation, corporate governance, ethics and compliance, intellectual property, privacy, financial transactions and general corporate matters, and provide leadership and direction to the company’s executive management team, global legal staff and outside counsel.
